So I started out in Goose Bay, Labrador, and up to Baffin Island to Greenland across to Iceland. In Iceland, I did a good portrait of Berndt Balchen, who was the great arctic flyer. He landed on the east coast of Greenland and knocked out a weather station by hand, you know, with dog teams and riflemen. And that weather station was one of the main things to forecast weather in northern Europe, so it was very important from a military standpoint.
